This year Midmark will be awarding three $10,000 technical scholarships + 2 paid co-op opportunities to students pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering or IT. | Midwest Electric, Inc. Children of Members Scholarship | Feb. 14, 2025 | Varies | Midwest Electric’s scholarships encourage the youth in our community to further their education. The cooperative awards the scholarships below to high school seniors attending four-year colleges after graduation. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and must be involved in school and community activities. | Van Wert Health Care Program | (5) $1,000 | Applicant must be a high school senior graduating in 2024 and residing and/or graduating from a school in Allen, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, or Van Wert Counties. Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited two or four year post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis by the end of 2024. The school of choice must have a program leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate in the student’s chosen major. The applicant's major must be human healthcare specific (majoring in a biological science is permissible). A minimum of a 3.0 GPA in high school and must demonstrate good character.
